It all starts when his best friend Marshal announces plans to marry his longtime girlfriend Lily. Ted realizes that time is running out and he too should find a suitable mate and settle down. He introduces us to a couple of women, building our hope that she is the mother to his kids but they all turn out not to be. The suspense to this film has made it really popular amongst its viewers.
